Shy. That description feels far from accurate. It appears again and again in text as a means to explain its disappearance. Given the occurrence of never once catching a glimpse despite 4 days of chances, previously I may have believed this characteristic without much second consideration. Now however, I find the quality far from appropriate and better replaced with bold.

The common misconception clearly lies with limited visibility throughout the day. A full eruption of landmass, Mount Fuji carries the weight of the region. Its presence is everywhere, and, when exposed, attracts and maintains all eyes. Mischievously, particularly as a day ticks deeper, the landform is surrounded by clouds; teasing on lookers. The false consideration that is it therefore timid draws out of what is perceived of as the mountain hiding.

The obscurity is not one of bashfulness nor introversion. Rather, its actions are one of feisty ability to make weather; to interlace with the air that is amongst the few elements capable of consistently enjoying its height. When realized from its control, the atmosphere carries onward to pass on over the lakes and ranges within its grasps.

Text need not read such dominance as inhibited. Perhaps it is such insults that only further breed the storms head to those down below.
